Introduction

JS7 supports automation of processes for on-premises installation and deployment of JS7 components such as JOC Cockpit, Controller and Agents:

• Installation includes to install components in a given environment including installation options and configuration options.
• Deployment includes to package the installed components to a .tar.gz tarball, to transfer tarballs to target machines and to extract tarballs on target machines.

Automation includes that the above steps can be performed in unattended mode using headless installation and deployment procedures.
