Introduction

Installation, updates, upgrades and patching of JS7 components are performed

• for Unix environments from .tar.gz installation tarballs,
• for Windows environments from .zip installation archives.

The processes can be automated for any number of instances of JOC Cockpit, Controller and Agents.

• The JS7 - Installation instructions also apply to updates and upgrades.
• Installation scripts are provided
  • for Unix environments from Shell scripts,
  • for Unix and Windows environments from PowerShell scripts.
