Introduction

JS7 supports automated deployment for on-premises installations that include JS7 components such as JOC Cockpit, Controller and Agents:

• Installation includes to install components in a given environment applying installation options and configuration options.
• Deployment includes to package the installed components to .tar.gz tarballs, to transfer tarballs to target hosts and to extract tarballs on target hosts.

Automation includes that the above steps can be performed in unattended mode using headless installation and deployment procedures.
