Introduction

The JS7 Controller and Agent offer metrics for monitoring.

• Metrics can be passed to JS7 - Metrics with Prometheus and can be visualized from JS7 - Dashboards with Grafana.
• Metrics can be passed to JS7 - Metrics with OpenTelemetry for later processing by Prometheus and Grafana.

Metrics include telemetry data of the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) used by Controller and Agents and they include telemetry data that are specific for JS7 products such as throughput of orders, journal size etc.
